Physics - Weight distribution
This was an experiment we did with a couple of forks, some clay, toothpick and a glass. We asked the kids what would happen and they thought would happen and they all thought it would topple over. Well as you can see the forks placement on the clay distributed the weight and it stayed on the cup balancing.

2010
As a family we have decided to have our school year begin and end with the year. We are currently brainstorming lists of things we want to study, places we want to go, work we want to accomplish for the upcoming school year. We will post soon to show you what we have accomplished.

School 2009
We are a Family of 6 where we home school our 4 children. I am starting this blog to show our family and friends what we are accomplishing with home school and to have a place to put my ideas and concerns about home school.
I am relatively new to home schooling. We had our children in the public school system for years before finally pulling them out 6 months ago. Our home school challenges may be different then some other parents because we have 3 children that are very unique with there educational needs or what our psychologist called "quirky". Our third child is what is considered 2e or twice exceptional and our older two have very different styles of learning.
Our educational story is like a piece of music with its highs and lows but that connect to make a beautiful work of art.
